This article is a work in progress Superflux Motor versions explained The Superflux has been around for more than 5 years now! So naturally it has evolved a bit. The original Superflux was a Mk1 OG Superflux (High speed but not defined as such). It had no motor connector just good old Bullet connectors and a JST Hall Sensor connector. Yea..not for the faint of heart. The Mk2, improved on that by Having a sick motor connector, improved thermals and internals, and a tire! The Mk2 High Speed (HS) and MK2 High Torque (HT) were sold thru 2023 and 2024. The latest version is the Superflux MK3 High Speed and Superflux MK3 High Torque Versions. As of Feb 2025, All HS and HT motors sold in the US and EU are Superflux Mk3 (both HS and HT).

Superflux High Speed VS High Torque- Which one do you want?

Fungineers offers two versions of their SuperFlux hub motor: High Speed (HS) and High Torque (HT). Both are designed for the Funwheel or Onewheel conversions, but they cater to different performance needs.

High Speed (HS) Version:

**Ideal for medium voltage batteries: **If you have an 18S or 20S Battery, the HS is the better choice as speeds of up to 30mph or more can be reached with our Thor300 VESCs.
Torque: Over 50 Nm, providing substantial acceleration and hill-climbing ability even for heavy weight riders.
Ideal For: Riders seeking high-speed performance, suitable for racing setups and those aiming for maximum speed.

High Torque (HT) Version:

Ideal for High voltage batteries: **If you have an 20S Battery or above, the HT is the better choice as speeds of up to 30mph can be reached with our Thor400VESC, and insane amounts of torque can be available at low speed.
Top Speed: With a 20S battery (pre-build Funwheel Sport) Around 22-25+ mph can be achieved with Field weakening.
Torque: Exceeds 80 Nm, offering enhanced acceleration from a standstill and improved hill-climbing efficiency.
Ideal For: Higher-voltage battery setups (20S and above). Best for heavier riders. Those seeking a more zippy acceleration feel and those prioritizing torque for better responsiveness and performance in hilly terrains, more than speed-cruising.

We are primarily based in Dubai, UAE, with a team spread over the U.S., UK and EU, with multiple manufacturing and warehousing facilities in China. In this case, please do not try to pay multiple times, as this might lead to your card being blocked with our payment provider. X7 Basic Set Up / Troubleshooting Guide

Hi there fellow Fungineers! This is a general guide to getting to know the set up behind your X7. We offer both DIY and pre-assembled X7 boards, but due to them being VESC based it is more than likely you'll have to toy around with settings in troubleshooting parts or reinstalling new ones. Trouble with GTFO LEDs?

We are sorry that your GTFO LEDs are not working. However, if you follow the steps in the below video, they should work perfectly. Please note, do not operate your board unless your LEDs are working perfectly. If for some reason you cant make them work, please keep them disconnected and reach out to us.
