The Thor400 is a 32s (134v) VESC that is a a pioneer in the High Voltage Vesc based, Onewheel market. This controller is a flagship controller in Fungineer related products such as our Complete Controller Box modules and preassembled boards. This controller was built by and for the Vesc based, Onewheel community. Thank you to all the individuals who have greatly contributed to this controllers formation, some important names like Surfdado, Mario Contino, Nico Aleman, and many countless others. VERY IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INSTALLATION OF THOR400'S

Please be mindful of the exposed mosfets, improper mounting of the controller may lead to the shorting of critical components
You MUST use a discharge fuses rated for your battery. You risk controller failures that will lead to thermal runaways if not using a fuse.

Firstly, we want to thank you for joining this project and community. This project has been built on the back of hundreds of hours of laborious work, time, and experimentation from countless people. You're not just buying a product, but joining a movement. We're glad to have you here, let's get started! There's a few things you should do before you even start riding.

||| DO NOT UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE IF PROMPTED! ||| If you receive a complete board or standalone ESC, VESC TOOL may prompt you to update. Do not do this. If your board is already set up, updating with completely wipe your board of it's preconfigured settings. You will have to debug & reprogram your device. You can press ignore and move past it.

1) JOIN THE DISCORD!

The Discord server is where you'll have a direct line of communication to us for troubleshooting/ customer service, or general help. We also post semi regular updates on our products, issues, and what're we are generally doing at the moment. Everything you need to know about: The GTFO kit

The GTFO kit is a complete GT overhaul VESC kit that will replace the controller, BMS, AND motor of your current GT build. This will take your mid GT build and put it on par with a high voltage VESC. This kit is the closest you can get to plug and play. And YES! This WILL work with your XRC!

We've identified a failure mode affecting Thor controllers related to CAN bus / VESC Express connections. In these cases, damage occurs when both the CAN cable and battery XT60 are connected- the XT60 can sometimes be plugged in "uneven" letting the positive make contact right before the negative during the plug-in. This brief imbalance can cause current to route through the CAN transceiver, leading to failure. You'll know it's dead when the VESC Express, Thor, and VBMS can no longer "see" one another. We've found this happens most commonly on GTFO / GTSFO kits, but theoretically it's still possible on X7 builds as well.

To prevent this:

||| 1) Leave CAN cable unplugged when connecting the battery XT60. ||| 2) After XT60 is fully seated, reconnect the CAN cable.

The Funwheel X7 is the flagship model of the Funwheel series. It all started with the construction of the superior Superflux motor, and then everything else started to build up around it. This is what you've been waiting for.

Who is this board built for?

The X7S is designed to revitalize the first feelings that captured us in our first experience with an XR Onewheel, but with current tech standards. This board is a great city cruiser with it having speeds up to 35mph and a range of 15-20 miles. This is the lightest board that we have in our line up. We would consider this to be our most casual board variant- but do not under estimate it. She might rock a small package but she packs a mighty punch.

The Funwheel X7LR is the long range variant of the X7 series. After the X7S was designed you all asked for more range, but a single battery wasn't enough. To answer the call we had to jam every inch of it with power, this is the X7LR.

Who' this board built for?

The X7LR is the expanded vision of the X7S. The only downside of the X7S is it's range, with it being the smallest board in our line up. This board solves that problem by cramming so many batteries inside so that you'd never run out of range. With a split pack battery (one in the front, one in the rear) you'll be able to cruise for more than you'll want at speeds you've never chased before. You won't be left behind with this board, and you'll probably never over power it. It does come with a downside of being our heaviest board option, but for every ounce it weighs you'll feel x5 the power output. We think that trade off is far worth it!
